The Giallorossi got back to winning ways with a come-from-behind victory over Chievo Verona on Thursday evening to close out 2016. Despite consistent early pressure on the visitor's, Roma found themselves down a goal in the 37th minute. Stephan El Shaarawy then answered right before the halfway mark with a spectacular free-kick to tie the match at one. It was all Roma in the second frame, and goals from Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti sealed the three points for the home side.
