To bring a suitable close to a year that saw Roma score over 100 goals in all competitions - we asked fans to pick their favourite of hte bunch.
With the shortlist whittled down to 16 candidates, over the last week fans have been voting for their favourite goals in head-to-head combat: with the winner finally revealed today.
The final was between two great goals: Mohamed Salah's brilliant effort against Palermo at the Stadio Olimpico on 21 February, and Stephan El Shaarawy's spectacular long-range strike at Empoli a week later.
Both goals stormed to the final - with El Shaarawy's strike edging out another finish from the winger (his backheel against Frosinone to open his Giallorossi account) and Salah beating one of the bracket favourites, Edin Dzeko's solo strike against Viktoria Plzen.

In the end it was Salah's goal against Palermo that secured the victory - and by an emphatic margin too!
