The club's medical staff have issued the following update on the status of full-back Emerson Palmieri:
On Monday morning Emerson Palmieri underwent arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The surgery went as planned and the defender will now begin a rehabilitation programme.
