Gonzalo Villar made his international debut for Spain on Tuesday night, starting the game as his side beat Lithuania in a Euro 2020 warm-up game.
With Spain's tournament preparations disrupted by a positive Covid-19 test in the squad, Villar was among a number of Under-21 squad members to be called up to fulfill the fixture.
And the 23-year-old ended up starting the game - also providing a clever assist as Brahim Diaz got on the scoresheet.

Later on Wednesday, Villar took to social media to express his feelings.
"A very special day yesterday," Villar said.
"My debut for Spain - and with my family and friends in the stands. Keep chasing our dreams."
