Serturini reaches 100 games in Serie A

Sunday was a notable day for Annamaria Serturini - who marked her 100th career Serie A appearance with yet another goal for the Giallorosse.

It was not enough for Roma Women to defeat Florentia - the game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw - but was enough for Italy international Serturini to be named the game's Player of the Match.

Serturini, who made her Serie A debut for Brescia back in 2014, has now made 47 appearances for Roma in the league - a record since the club's formation ahead of the 2018-19 season.

The 22-year-old, who is also the club's overall top goalscorer, acknowledged the milestone on social media.

"With [Sunday's] game I reached 100 appearances," she wrote, "and every time I go out on the pitch I do it with more hunger, hunger I've had since the socks were bigger than I was and all of this was a dream to me.

"This is just the beginning."

Congratulations, Sertu!
