Another signing with just hours to go before the transfer window closes - Mady Camara is now a Roma player!
The midfielder joins the club from Greek side Olympiacos ... here's everything you need to know about the club's latest addition!
From the beginning
Mady - now 25 - was born on 28 February 1997 in Matam, a small village not far from Guinea's capital, Conakry.
His role on the pitch
A central midfielder capable of playing both a box-to-box and more withdrawn role, Camara is perhaps more known for his efforts on the defensive end - but nonetheless can contribute going forward too.
The statistics back that up - he has 22 goals and 14 assists in 232 appearances to date.
His career so far
After starting his career at two clubs in his native Guinea, Kaloum and Santoba, in 2015 Camara had the chance to test himself in Europe - going on trial at French club Ajaccio. A successful tryout saw him earn a contract with the Ligue 2 club.
In 2018 he moved to Olympiacos, with him he has gone on to win three straight Greek titles and one Greek Cup.
He was named Guinea's Player of the Season in 2019-20, inheriting the prize from Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita.
His idol
Camara is devoted to his mother, explaining exactly why in an interview with his old club.
"My mother has had to struggle and deal with difficulty her whole life," he said. "And so everything that we do, we do it to make her happy."
His passions
In that same interview, Camara revealed that rice is his favourite food and his favourite number is 4.
His favourite actor is Leonardo Di Caprio, while his favourite player when he was a child was none other than Brazilian idol Kaka.
