    International: Italy reach Algarve Cup final


    Italy reached the final of the Algarve Cup over the weekend, after beating Norway 2-1 in their second group stage encounter.

    Roma Women players Manuela Giugliano and Elena Linari both started the contest, while Lucia Di Guglielmo, Annamaria Serturini and Angelica Soffia all came on during the contest.

    Valentina Giacinti and Arianna Caruso scored the goals for the Azzurre, who will now face Sweden in the final.

    Another Giallorosse player, Emilie Haavi, was an unused substitute in the contest.
