Match Pack: Roma Women v. Juventus

Two unbeaten teams go head-to-head at Stadio Tre Fontane on Saturday (kick-off: 14:30 local time)...

The game will be the first back at their usual home ground for the Giallorosse, while it will also be the first in almost two years with fans in attendance - as 50% capacity at the stadium will be allowed.

    Form guide

Covid cases in the Inter Milan camp meant that last weekend's game against the Nerazzurri was cancelled for Roma, meaning three wins from three remains their record so far this season.

Juventus, meanwhile, are once again top of the table: having picked up 12 points from their four games to date, including last weekend's 1-0 win over Empoli.

    General Statistics

Juventus are the only team to date that Roma have faced in three different competitions in their history: Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa.

In total the two teams have met on five occasions in Serie A: with Juventus winning all of them. The Bianconere have scored 14 goals in that span to Roma's one (from Annamaria Serturini).

Roma are still yet to score in a home league meeting against Juventus, after three failed attempts to date. They did, however, score twice during the first leg of last season's Coppa Italia semi-final triumph against Juve.

Roma have conceded just five goals in their last seven home games in Serie A. Since the start of 2021, meanwhile, only Juventus (seven) and Sassuolo (six) have picked up more home clean sheets than Roma's four.

Roma have the highest possession percentage (67.1%) of any team in Serie A so far this season - 8.1% more than any other side, too.

    Player Focus

Valeria Pirone, who scored last time out against Pomigliano, has not scored in successive Serie A games since December 2020. If she scores against Juventus they will become the 33rd different side she has scored against in Serie A in her career.

Vanessa Bernauer èhas made 49 appearances in the league for Roma - so if she plays on Saturday she will hit the 50 milestone with the Giallorosse.

    Focus avversaria
