Gallery: Roma Women begin pre-season preparations

Head coach Elisabetta Bavagnoli had the girls do fitness and conditioning work in the morning - before focusing on technique and tactics in the afternoon.

Roma Women, who began pre-season training on 6 August, are gearing up for their first friendly match, against New York’s Union College on Monday 13 August (10:30 local time).

Following that the team will move to Cascia in Umbria for the second stage of pre-season, from 20 to 24 August.

The Serie A campaign gets under way on 15 September.
