It was a memorable image from an otherwise rather straightforward victory: captain Daniele De Rossi, his back to the camera, lifting his left arm in triumph after helping the side grind out another hard-fought three points.
The 34-year-old had played like the leader he is, ignoring the effects of a broken bone in his foot to help steer his side through a tense contest in Tuscany.
Taking that image, we asked graphic designer Vinnotsaurus ( @vinnot86) to re-imagine De Rossi in a number of other classic kits from the club's history.
As the latest in a long line of Roma idols, from Volk to Toninho Cerezo, Di Bartolomei to Giannini, Falcao to Totti, we wanted to see how the World Cup winner would look wearing some of the kits from those earlier periods in Roma history.
