The year that included the biggest-ever margin of victory by a Roma team over Lazio. On November 1, the Giallorossi wiped the floor with the Biancocelesti 5-0 with Ernesto Tomasi bagging himself a hat-trick and Fulvio Bernardini contributing with the two goals.

1962

The only year when the Rome Derby went to penalties. On April 25, Roma played Lazio in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia. After 0-0 in normal time and extra time, Roma emerged victorious 6-4 on penalties thanks to six successful strikes from Pedro Manfredini!
