The new social media feed - @ASRomaArabic - will allow the club to directly communicate with Arabic fans in local language for the first time.
After Italian, Arabic is the most widely spoken language of followers of the club on social media – with over 1.1m fans from Arabic-speaking countries on AS Roma’s Facebook page alone.
Today’s announcement means that the club is now directly engaging with supporters in seven different languages every day.
Complementing the official Italian-language website and social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and WeChat, the club now boast four international Twitter accounts in English, Spanish, Indonesian and Arabic, a Thai-language Facebook page and an official Chinese-language Sina Weibo account.
Stay tuned to asroma.it for news of further official AS Roma local-language social media accounts that will be announced in the coming weeks.
