Wojciech Szczesny has been named in Poland’s 28-man preliminary squad for the Euro 2016 finals in France this summer
The goalkeeper, who is on loan at Roma from Arsenal this season, will be hoping to convince coach Adam Nawalka to include him in the final 23-man squad for the tournament.
“Poland against Germany at Euro 2016. Can’t wait to face Antonio Rudiger again,” Szczesny wrote on Instagram in December, just after the draw placed Poland and Germany in the same group.
Group C also features Ukraine and Northern Ireland.
