"We're relaxed, we know how good we are and we'll give everything to win the match," said the Giallorossi attacking midfielder. "We've realised that at times if we get too up for a game, we don't manage to achieve what we want to. If we can play our own football, cover plenty of ground and work hard for one another, we will succeed in winning the Scudetto."
Saturday night's match will be played at Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia (kick-off 20:30).
"Any side that makes it to the final will be prepared and a tough test. Roma v Juve is fixture full of history between two very prestigious clubs. We're the two teams that most deserved to make it through to the final. Juventus are a good team, well drilled technically and they play nice football."
At the start of the season did you expect to go the distance in the league?
"At the start you never think you can make it this far but, as time goes by, your belief starts to grow."
When has the team played its best football this season?
"I think our best spell came straight after getting out of the group in the Youth League. We grew in confidence and self-awareness. Even after the two straight defeats in the league we worked hard and from then on our focus no longer dropped."
And the toughest?
"The most awkward period came after the first half of the Youth League quarter-final against PSG. We were a bit fearful in the first half but we bounced back after the break."
Was there a time during the Inter match where you feared it was over?
"I must be honest, I thought the worst after the goal we conceded right at the start of extra time. Then I saw the team wasn't giving up, however, and I started to believe again."
How much does the Scudetto mean to you?
"That's an obvious question - it means a lot to me like everyone here. We've had seasons where we deserved to achieve more and if we won it this season it would be the icing on the cake for my time in the academy."
Is this group of players more of a team than last season's side?
"I wouldn't say that. We were good last season too but one incident cost us in the Scudetto semis. This year we've all pulled together even more because we realised that it's not nice to lose when you deserve to win."
You play in the hole in a 4-3-1-2, a crucial role in the system the team have adopted this season.
"I like playing in the hole. It's a free role that gives you licence to roam. The formation was chosen to make the most of the great forwards we have. Obviously a lot of our play goes through the attacking midfielder but via other players too. You need to use your head. At times you must be patient and keep the ball moving, whereas on other occasions you have to take your chance to strike. The higher the level, the more you need to think. Intelligence is one of your main weapons in football."
How much have you progressed this season?
"I've been at Roma since I was seven, I've grown up wearing these colours. Over the last few years the club have given me lots of opportunities to learn."
