Former Roma forward Gervinho has praised the club, saying the team and its supporters deserve to celebrate a title
The Ivory Coast international joined the Giallorossi during the 2013-14 season, going on to score 26 goals in 88 appearances before joining Chinese side Hebei Fortune at the start of 2016.
In an interview with FIFA, Gervinho reflected fondly on his time in Italy.
"To be honest with you, every club that I’ve played for has had a huge role in making me the player I am now," he said.
"Before I signed for my new team in China, I got to discover Serie A with Roma, a fantastic team with incredible fans who deserve to celebrate a league title every year."
