Skoruspki made two saves of note during the game to preserve the victory - including a penalty stop that helped maintain the momentum of the contest.

The Polish international now has seven clean sheets in 15 league appearances, which is the most by a goalkeeper in Serie A this season.

Empoli’s next match is on Tuesday against Atalanta.
