Joining in the summer from Elfsborg, the 25-year-old defensive midfielder has achieved seven caps for his native Sweden and can play a variety of roles.
Coming in the middle of the 2016 Allsvenskan season where he had four goals and four assists, he has already registered an assist in Serie A. In 351 minutes played, Rohden has made 3.8 interceptions and completed over three tackles on average.
A clever player who has worked his way up the ranks of European football, his impact will not go unnoticed as he continues his ascent under the Squali.
Noe Dussenne
The proverbial wall of the Rossoblu defence at 1.91 metres tall, the Belgian centre back mastered his trade through the Belgian professional leagues.
He sent a staggering 11 long balls against Empoli, while his six clearances put Dussenne as one of the highest for the category in the league.
In the attacking phase, his three completed dribbles per game attest to his ability to drive play forward, and he is a calm and collected passer with an 85% pass completion rate. Roma must limit conceding any corners for the tall defender to latch onto - it is likely to be one of the visitors' best threats at a goal - and beat him on the ground in their attack.
Marcello Trotta
A former Italy U21 international, the centre forward is on loan from Sassuolo as he attempts to find more gametime in the top flight.
Trotta scored an opportunistic goal against Palermo, blasting the ball into the back of the net after a parry from the keeper – showing a good sense of when to arrive in the right place at the right time. In the same match, the attacker had three shots and achieved an 89% pass completion rate.
It’s these predatory instincts that will make Trotta an unpredictable threat inside Roma’s box on Wednesday evening - if he gets the service.
