After being introduced the day before at the club's headquarters on Viale Tiziano, Arcadio Venturi and Ferenc Puskas greet each other again in the centre circle ahead of the friendly between Roma and the legendary Honved. The Giallorossi ran out 3-2 winners at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday 12 December 1956. Also in the picture is Turkish referee Sulhi Garan and behind Venturi there are two other Hall of Fame members: Giacomo Losi and Alcides Ghiggia.

Arcadio Venturi scores the last of his 18 goals for Roma from the penalty spot in front of the Curva Sud at the Stadio Olimpico. After going behind against Udinese, Arcadio's strike drew the teams level in Week 20 of Serie A 1956-57 – his final season in a Giallorossi shirt. Severino Lojodice and two braces each from Gunnar Nordahl and Dino Da Costa rounded off a comprehensive 6-1 win for Roma.
