Alessandro Spugna is no longer the head coach of AS Roma Women


AS Roma and head coach Alessandro Spugna have mutually agreed to part ways.

Spugna was appointed on June 2nd, 2021 and has since taken charge of 158 matches with the Giallorosse, winning two league titles, two Italian Super Cups, and one Coppa Italia. 

“We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to Alessandro for the commitment and professionalism he has shown over these four seasons,” said Betty Bavagnoli, Head of Women’s Football. 

“His contribution to the team’s growth has been an added value in achieving important milestones that will remain part of the Club’s history.

We wish Alessandro all the best for the future.” 

A new chapter now begins for AS Roma Women.
