After the match, Alberto De Rossi was quick to praise his side's mature approach to games.
“As I've said, this squad is very mature given the age of the players," said the coach. "They know what they want both on and off the pitch. Our approach was the deciding factor today - they were all very focused and switched on. We took the lead very early on and never let up."
The result was never in doubt, with the Giallorossi leading 5-0 at the break thanks a hat-trick from Edoardo Soleri, along with strikes from Keba and Marco Tumminello. Maione reduced the deficit for the hosts from the spot after the interval, before Emanuele Spinozzi added a sixth.
"It's nice to be in charge of this team and what a pleasure it is to watch them play. They produced some lovely football, full of fast-paced interplay."
The Under-19s wil next be in action on Wednesday (kick-off 15:00 CET) in the return leg of their UEFA Youth League second round tie against Cork City. The Giallorossi won the first leg in Ireland 3-1.
