We've picked out five key quotes given by Massimiliano Allegri in his news conference ahead of Sunday's clash at the Olimpico...

On the match...

“Games between Roma and Juve are always fantastic and that will be the case again this time, especially as both teams still have targets to achieve. It will be a great game between two top sides. We have the chance to wrap up the title but it won't be easy. We'll see if we're good enough to win the Scudetto tomorrow; if not we'll focus on the Coppa Italia and then on our next league game.”

On Roma and Napoli...

“Roma and Napoli deserve credit because Serie A is a tough league. You really have to scrap to win it because you have teams like these two producing some brilliant stuff.”

On Juve's approach...

“We're not going down to Rome on a day trip; we're going there to get a result. Besides, we have the cup final afterwards so we'll be staying in the capital. It's not that we're not trying our hardest – it can happen that you draw two games. We've drawn a few recently but we could have drawn them earlier in the campaign. The main thing is we end the season on top. We can't afford to finish level on points with Roma; we could do with Napoli but the only thing that matters in the end is that we win the Scudetto.”

On his team selection...

“First of all, I'm pleased [Medhi] Benatia has joined us outright now. He's had a few muscle problems this year but he's played well and he'll start tomorrow. I don't like to call it rotation, though. Thanks to the players the club have given me to work with, I've been able to make between five and eight changes on average over the last two months. I can't make too many this time because we're missing two midfielders. We have four up front and we'll decide whether or not to rest one of them.”

On Totti...

”Totti has been a beacon for Italian football for the last 20 years."
