Girl in wedding dress surprises Roma stars

Having turned up at Trigoria to watch training in a Roma kit with a delegation of supporters who had flown over from China, Zhou Rongrong sneaked off to the toilets and emerged wearing a wedding dress.

In her hands, she held a framed sign that read: ‘I wanted to marry Totti when I was twelve years old.’

“I come from Chongqing in China and I started to follow Totti and Roma from 12 years old,” Zhou told asroma.com. “Someone once said to me, every mother in Rome wants their daughter to marry Totti. So I wanted to do the same and today I’ve come here to express my love for Francesco!”

When the squad spotted her watching in a wedding dress, they began to cheer and Luciano Spalletti immediately invited her into the gym to meet the players.

While Totti wasn’t in the gym at the time, he did get to meet Zhou after the session – much to her delight.
