This week we visit the Big Apple, as Stefano Bernardini from ASRoma360.com and Alessandro Pugliese from TransfersCalcio are joined by Roma Club New York member Eric Buckmeyer...

The Roma Question: A year from now, who do you think will prove to be Roma’s best signing of the 2017 summer transfer window?

Stefano / @asroma360: “Cengiz Under's quality seems to be pure and crystalline. The Turkish talent could be Roma's real 'crack' in the next few years. This was a great purchase by Monchi.”

Alessandro / @sandro_pugliese: “Cengiz Under has recently found his stride and could prove to be a marvelous signing. The young Turk has shown he can be a difference maker both by creating chances and finding the back of the net. Obviously, Patrik Schick is also a phenomenal talent who could become a world-class striker.”

Eric / @EricBuckmeyer: “I’m confident Cengiz will prove to make more of a lasting impact for Roma long term, however I anticipate greater things from Schick next season. So long as he can stay fit. They both have a lot of talent with a massive ceiling, so it will be exciting to watch these two in the future in the giallorosso shirt.”

The Serie A Question: Do you think Napoli have the strength in depth to hold off Juventus and win the title?

@asroma360: “I am hoping for Napoli to succeed. Maurizio Sarri shaped a perfect team. It is a joy to see them play – a show that is appreciated by football lovers. This is the right year for them. They can defeat Juventus.”

@sandro_pugliese: “I do believe Napoli has the ability and depth to hold off Juventus to win the Scudetto and finally end the Bianconeri’s dominance in Serie A. The main factor for me is how will Maurizio Sarri use that depth and rotate his squad, especially when considering the Europa League.”

@EricBuckmeyer: “Nope. Juventus will lift the Scudetto yet again. They’re deeper and the machine is methodically beginning to gain momentum down the stretch. The Serie A season is a marathon; not a sprint. Napoli have been on excellent form, but it’s a matter of time before they drop points to teams like Roma or Inter.”

The General Football Question: Which Premier League club is most similar to Roma in your opinion?

@asroma360: “Roma could be compared to Arsenal. A great side with many ambitions, but one that is always struggling to make the final step. Both clubs are glorious and attractive for the players, but they need the right spark to triumph.”

@sandro_pugliese: “Considering the past 5-10 years, I definitely see some comparisons between Roma and Liverpool. Both clubs have been trying to overcome that final hurdle for domestic league glory and to become a part of Europe’s elite, but seem just a step or two away. Each have talented squads with young, exciting managers, a strong social media presence and ambitious American owners.”

@EricBuckmeyer: “Arsenal. Capital club, red kits, regular top four contenders, championship-starved.”
