Roma will play in the Champions League group stage once again next season, after their place in the top four in Serie A was confirmed on Saturday night.

Inter Milan's 2-1 defeat against Sassuolo ensured that Eusebio Di Francesco's side can finish no worse than fourth in the league this season - clinching their spot in next season's top European competition in the process.

With Juventus and Napoli having already confirmed their places, the one remaining place for Italian teams will go to either Lazio or Inter - with Lazio able to secure their spot with a win over Crotone on Sunday.

This season the Giallorossi reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, beating the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona on the way to an eventual defeat against Liverpool.

Roma face Juventus on Sunday, as they look to finish third in the table. They end their campaign next Sunday away to Sassuolo, Di Francesco's former club.
