AS Roma and Fnatic are pleased to announce that two FIFA players – ‘Zimme’ and ‘Rannerz’ – have signed new contracts.

The Gfinity title-winning duo will continue to represent both organisations in FIFA tournaments around the world, beginning with the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs in Amsterdam on May 26.

Simon ‘Zimme’ Nystedt, who was signed in October 2017, has been off to a bright start since joining the Giallorossi. He holds an impressive 73% win/draw rate while averaging 3.5 goals per game as a Roma player. His consistency led to continued success in the Gfinity Elite Series, where he defeated UNILAD’s ‘Shellz’ in the finals to obtain a playoff spot in Amsterdam.

“Playing for AS Roma and Fnatic has been an awesome time so far,” ‘Zimme’ said. “I'm very excited to keep playing for them and hopefully we can win some more big titles. I appreciate the faith that they've put in me - I think Gfinity was just the start.”

Conran ‘Rannerz’ Tobin has competed against the world's best in this year’s competitive FIFA cycle, his first year playing professionally. In January, he participated in the FUT Champions Barcelona Cup, where he placed in the top 32.

He was officially drafted to the Giallorossi back in February to compete in the Gfinity Elite Series. He exceeded expectations throughout the tournament, cruising to the finals where he defeated Tass to secure his own Global Series playoff spot and RomaFnatic’s first trophy as a team.

‘Rannerz’ is delighted to have re-signed with both organisations: “To me, Roma is much more than just a team to play for. Their passion, values and goals stand side-by-side with mine. A future here is exactly what I envisioned and hopefully we can continue our recent success as a team.”
