The draw for this phase of the competition took place in Istanbul, Turkiye, on Friday afternoon.
The Giallorossi, in Pot 1 by virtue of their victory in last season's Europa Conference League, were granted an intriguing draw - with the meeting with Betis, last season's Copa del Rey winners, a particular highlight.
The fixture list for the group stage will be confirmed in due course.
"We know that at this level of European competition you are going to face good teams," said Tiago Pinto, the club's General Manager.
"We want to build on last season, we know that winning a trophy like that gives a group of players more confidence and belief in what they are capable of.
"So, we know it will be tough, but our aim is to win the group and progress into the next phase."
