    Beata Kollmats joins the Giallorosse!

Roma Women are delighted to announce the signing of defender Beata Kollmats.

Kollmats, 29, has signed a contract with the Giallorosse until 30 June 2023.

The Swedish centre-back adds to Alessandro Spugna's options ahead of the second half of the 2021-22 season.

“I feel very honoured to be a part of AS Roma," Kollmats said. "The club is aiming to achieve big things and I want to be a part of that journey.

"I think I will develop a lot as both a player and person by being here, and at the same time I hope that I will be able to contribute to the team with my experience.”

Kollmats joins the club from Hacken FC, where she was club captain and won both the Swedish Cup and Supercup.

This season she also participated in the Women's Champions League, making four appearances in the competition.

"Beata is a player blessed with both technical ability and a good vision for the game, qualities that fit well with our ideology," said Betty Bavagnoli, the club's Head of Women's Football.

"She has decided to take on a new challenge with us and we are convinced that her leadership qualities will help us a lot."

    Welcome to Roma, Beata!
