AS Roma are pleased to confirm that the club will face Basque side Athletic Club in a special friendly match in Perugia on August 7.
The Bilbao club and the Giallorossi will travel to Stadio Renato Curi for the Wednesday match, which is currently scheduled to get underway at 20:00 local time.
Athletic Club, under coach Gaizka Garitano, finished eighth in La Liga last season – narrowly missing out on qualification for the preliminary rounds of the Europa League.
The game will be the Giallorossi’s second game of pre-season at the Curi; Paulo Fonseca’s side are also due to face Perugia there on July 31.
On Saturday 3 August the team travel to France to face Lille.
