    Coppa Italia: Provisional draw made for competition


    On Monday morning Lega Serie A confirmed the draw for the 2019-20 Coppa Italia.

    With the dates for the various rounds confirmed last week, in Milan on Monday teams found out their potential path to May's final in Rome.

    Roma, as one of the eight top seeds for this season's competition, will join at the last-16 stage - with games at that stage to take place during midweek of either the 15th or 22nd of January.

    The Giallorossi's potential opponents are listed below:

    Catania, Fanfulla,
    Carrarese, Fermana,
    Monopoli, Ponsacco,
    Venezia, Frosinone,
    Cosenza, PARMA.

    Should Roma progress to the quarter-finals, the other top-seeded side in that part of the draw are Juventus.

    Both sides are in the same half of the competition as AC Milan and Torino.

    Napoli, Lazio, Atalanta and Inter could only be faced if they reach the final at the Stadio Olimpico.

    The final is scheduled to take place on 13 May 2020.
