Fazio celebrates 100 appearances for Roma in style

Federico Fazio reached 100 appearances for Roma on Saturday - and celebrated by scoring the clinching goal in another memorable derby victory over Lazio.

The Argentinian defender, who joined the club on an initial loan deal in the summer of 2016, quickly established himself as a favourite among fans for his dominant performances - earning the nickname 'Il Comandante' in the process.

After making his move permanent, Fazio has continued to be a regular presence under coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

His life has changed off the pitch too, with his newborn son Tomas on hand at the Olimpico on Sunday to see his dad in action.

"So happy to have reached 100 caps with this team, and with such a special guest!" Fazio wrote on social media.

Fazio powered home a header in the 85th minute to wrap up victory in the derby - a moment of personal satisfaction after his error had led to Lazio's equaliser 20 minutes earlier.

Congratulations Federico - here's to many more appearances!
