The club's medical staff have issued the following update about the condition of defender Emerson Palmieri:

Emerson has undergone initial assessment that have revealed the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

On Monday the full-back will undergo athroscopic surgery and reconstruction of the ligament.
