How to be anti-racist: a list of resources

The killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man in Minneapolis, sparked protests all over the world, with hundreds of thousands of people marching in support of Black Lives Matter.

Across America, and in many major cities around the world, thousands of people came out to make their voices heard.

In Rome, a Black Lives Matter protest was held in Piazza del Popolo.

In 2020, it’s no longer enough to not be racist.

We must be actively anti-racist and help try to collectively tackle systematic racism and implicit bias wherever we may find it.

Only vigorous anti-racist action can change things now.

Each of us has a duty to confront our own racial biases and that can be uncomfortable at times.

As a football club, with a powerful platform to reach millions of people all over the world, AS Roma has a duty to act in an anti-racist way. From suggested articles and books to read, organisations to donate to and films and videos to watch, here is a resource list to help us all to be anti-racist and a better ally to the Black Lives Matter movement…
