Smalling elated to cap off big team display

The Giallorossi came from behind to get a massive three points in Lombardy, as Paulo Dybala and Smalling - midway through the second half - scored the all-important goals.

"We are delighted with this win," Smalling, speaking in Italian, told DAZN afterwards.

"It was such an important game for us. We have to build on this, because on Thursday we have another big game."

He added: "We all fought right up until the last minute, we showed real team spirit in the end.

"It's not just the 11 who start the game who are important this season, but the whole squad. We have great targets we want to reach ... I hope I can continue to help the team out with goals."

"Spero di poter continuare a fare gol".

Ci sono le risorse per gestire le prossime gare?

"Questa stagione, non è forte solo l'undici che scende in campo, ma tutta la squadra. Abbiamo grandi obiettivi da raggiungere".
