Donations for Ukraine: An outstanding response from Roma fans

Roma fans have responded in their thousands to the club's appeal to help Ukrainian children currently displaced or affected by the ongoing war.

The club, in conjunction with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), launched its appeal earlier this month - donating necessary supplies to the relief effort as millions of refugees have been affected by ongoing events.

The club, through its links within the community in the Italian capital, also helped activate a support network comprising of churches, soccer schools, fan clubs and official club stores - allowing fans myriad ways to donate or help out with the relief efforts.

Monday was the last day for fans to deliver basic necessary items; including blankets, baby products, toys and other school products.

The club would like to thank supporters for their incredible efforts during this period.

Those who still want to support the UNHCR can do so by bidding on a number of match-related items currently up for auction. They include match-worn and signed shirts from the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Sergio Oliveira.

All proceeds from those auctions will go towards UNHCR relief efforts.
