    View from the Opposition: Bologna

Ahead of Wednesday's visit to the Renato Dall'Ara, we get the lowdown on what to expect from the hosts...

Michel Cavina is a TV journalist who covers the team for Made in Bo TV. Here's what he had to say about the game - which sees both sides arrive on the back of invaluable wins at the weekend...

The game itself gets underway at 18:30 CET.

Bologna are currently sixth in the table and have the same number of points (21) as Fiorentina, Juventus and Lazio. Did you expect the team to be doing this well so far into the season?

"No, honestly it was impossible to think that Bologna would be doing so well in the table at this point. The side are doing really well in terms of the results they've picked up and, to be honest, they could have probably had a few more points too.

"After the embarrassing 4-2 defeat against Empoli, there were showdown discussions in the changing room and the change in system since then has worked wonders. Not since the 2002-03 season have Bologna done as well after 14 games of the season."

What are the strengths and weaknesses of this team?

"Right now, Bologna have one clear strength: Marko Arnautovic. He has charisma, leadership and personality - especially for a mid-table side like Bologna. He's lifting everyone up to his level and putting the team on his back to an extent. In midfield there is also Nico Dominguez, who has put in some top performances and showing what he brings to the table.

"The weakness, as far as I'm concerned, remains the defence - who sometimes struggle to find the right balance and the right distances between themselves and the opposition. Every once in a while they make a big defensive error that sometimes costs them dearly. And that goes for the group rather than specific individuals."

What do you think Mihajlovic will change from the win over Spezia?

"I doubt he'll change much. Perhaps almost nothing. De Silvestri's fitness will be monitored and perhaps he could come back in as a starter as the right-back in Mihajlovic's 3-5-2. But beyond that I think he will stick with the same side, even if Dominguez and Gary Medel in particular are playing lots of games right now. But that's the way it's got to be."

What are you expecting to see from Roma on Wednesday?

"I really like this Roma side. Despite a few missteps, I think they are still a side that are really dangerous and can cause problems for almost anyone. They have plenty of talent and some interesting tactical ideas.

"I expect Roma to be focused and determined, looking to build on that solid win over Torino. They will try to dominate the game again tomorrow, though, even if it is on Bologna's patch."

If you could, which player would you prefer Mourinho to be without?

"Maybe it's obvious to say Tammy Abraham: but I think he's a really, really good player with incredible potential too. He can do everything and often he does it really well. I love him!

"Beyond that, though, I would also say Ibanez (not just because he was close to joining Bologna before Roma came in) because he's a modern defender with some interesting qualities to him."

What's your prediction for the game?

"I see this being a really difficult game for Bologna, but a bit more even than you might think if you just look at the two squads on paper. Bologna are doing really well right now and confidence is high, enabling them to play without pressure. Roma, meanwhile, have a lot of talent but a lot of pressure on them to win. So it should be a fun one."
