Hyundai and Edison bring e-mobility to Roma

The two club partners have teamed up on a project to equip Roma's Trigoria training centre with fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The partnership between Hyundai, AS Roma's main global partner, and Edison means that players, coaching staff and personnel at the Giallorossi training centre will now be able to recharge the batteries of their cars with ease.

Edison, Roma’s official energy partner, has equipped the training centre with columns that allow four cars to be charged simultaneously with an AC charge of up to 7.2 kW.

As a result, the KONA Electric cars supplied to the club by Hyundai can be recharged effortlessly at the training centre.

The initiative is in line with the broad targets of AS Roma, as well as its two partners, in regards to issues of sustainability and environmental protection - two aspects that are central to the day-to-day work of the firms that teamed up on the project.
