Stats: No prior meetings with Braga

The two sides have never faced each other before in European competition - it will be the first time they have ever gone head-to-head.

The Giallorossi have a mixed-to-good record against Portuguese opposition in their history: playing 18 games in total, of which they have won eight, drawn five and lost five.

Braga will become the seventh side we have faced in a European game, after Belenenses (2), Porto (6), Benfica (4), Vitoria Setubal (2), Boavista (2) and Sporting Lisbon (2).

It will be the ninth time in total Roma have faced a Portuguese side in a direct knockout game: with Roma having won four and lost four of the previous such occasions.
