Roma Women Primavera kicked off their Viareggio Women's Cup participation on Tuesday afternoon with an impressive 3-1 victory over Inter Milan.
Fabio Melillo's side beat the Nerazzurre to make a perfect start to Group 1, with Pacioni and Landa notching in the first half before Corelli put the game beyond doubt early in the second.
A strike from Carlucci for Inter briefly threatened to spark a comeback, but the Giallorosse held on to pick up all three points.
Juventus and Empoli are the other two sides in Group 1 - with Juventus winning the meeting between the two sides 1-0.
The Under-19s are back in action on Thursday, as they face Empoli. The final group game, against Juventus, is scheduled for Saturday morning.
Should Roma progress from the group, the semi-finals of the competition are pencilled in for Monday 17 February - with the final taking place at 16:00 local time the following Wednesday in Montignoso.
