Ahead of the friendly match between Roma and Lille on August 3, the esports contingents of both squads will face off in a virtual friendly on Twitch.
'Damie' is set to take on 'Gilles' of Lille in a one match, winner-take-all special event shortly before kick-off at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy (18:00 CEST). Both players came close to qualifying for this year's FIFA eWorld Cup, with Damie finishing the season two places shy of qualification in 18th and Gilles not far behind in 35th on the PlayStation console.
