    Fan who responded to Rome fire receives message from Totti


    Roma fan Daniele Catarucci has received a special message from Francesco Totti, after his heroism was vital in saving a number of lives this week.

    On Wednesday evening, a fire ripped through an apartment in the Centocelle section of Rome, leaving four people injured.

    But things could have been a lot worse were it not for 25-year-old Catarucci – who rushed to the aid of those trapped in the apartment and helped them to escape.

    Catarucci suffered from smoke inhalation as a result of his actions.

    A huge Roma fan – travelling home and away to follow the team - as news of his brave response spread Catarucci received a special message from his hero, Totti.
