Stat Attack: Numbers to know before we face Inter

Ahead of Saturday's visit to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, here are a few facts and figures worth knowing about Roma's record against Inter Milan.

Kick-off in Milan is scheduled for 20:30 local time.

    A classic rivalry

With 202 meetings between these two sides in all competitions, Inter Milan are the side Roma have faced most since their formation in 1927. The scoreline to date: 60 Roma wins, 55 draws and 87 wins for Inter.

    The last six meetings

Inter have won just one of the last six games between the two sides, however: drawing three and losing two to the Giallorossi.

    500 club?

Saturday's game could, in theory, be the first involving two sides that have scored 500 goals in Serie A. At the moment both sides sit on 497.

    Rare Nerazzurro drought

Inter have not scored a goal in either of their last two home games in Serie A - not since April 1992 have the side gone three home games in a row without scoring...

    Focus on dead balls

The game on Saturday will see two set-piece specialists go head-to-head. Roma (21 goals) and Inter (19) have scored more from set-piece situations than any other side except Juventus (22) so far this term.

    Goals from midfield

Inter have seen their midfielders chip in with 22 goals already this season - and eight of their last 11 in the league. Only Atalanta (25) have enjoyed a bigger contribution from the middle of the pitch so far this term.

    Watch out for Keita Balde

Keita Balde has scored three times in his last two games against Roma in the league - his preferred victims in Serie A.

    Ranieri vs Inter

Claudio Ranieri has faced Inter a total of 29 times during his coaching career - his most common opponent as a manager. The scoreline to date: six wins for Ranieri, 13 draws, and 10 defeats.

    Ranieri vs Spalletti

The two coaches meanwhile, who have managed both clubs, have met on just four occasions. Ranieri leads the head-to-head record with three wins and a draw.

    Good memories for Florenzi

Alessandro Florenzi scored his first goal for Roma at the San Siro, against Inter, back in September 2012. The assist came from Francesco Totti, and Roma would go on to win that game 3-1.
