Medical update: Gervinho and Torosidis

Gervinho, who withdrew from the game against Torino after 26 minutes, has undergone tests which confirm the player is not suffering from a muscle tear.

The Ivorian striker will now be monitored on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, Vasilis Torosidis has undergone tests which have revealed he is suffering from a minor strain to his right hamstring.

The Greek international, who was a second half substitute on Saturday, is expected to be out for around three weeks.
