Gervinho, Lucas Digne and Antonio Rudiger have taken to social media to share their reactions after Roma were drawn to play Real Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16
Gervinho posted an image of him taking on Gareth Bale and Martin Odegaard during the Giallorossi’s International Champions Cup game against Madrid in Melbourne this summer, adding the caption "@ChampionsLeague Draw: #ForzaRoma".
Antonio Rudiger, who will be coming up against the most prolific attack in this year’s competition, exclaimed “What a match!”.
Left-back Lucas Digne wrote “After Barcelona, it’s Real Madrid’s turn! Can’t wait...”.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema left no doubt as to his ambitions in this year’s competition with the message “Let’s go for the 11th!”.
Roma will welcome Real Madrid to the Olimpico on 17 February, with the return leg taking place at the Santiago Bernabeu on 8 March.
