After sorting through some excellent fan submissions, we’re happy to announce Daniele Benedetti as the first winner of Roma’s new weekly Instagram photo contest.
To kick-off the new weekly challenge, we asked entrants to share an image created with ‘Champions League’ as the theme to mark Roma’s return to European action against Real Madrid at the Stadio Olimpico.
The winning entry uniquely captured the unforgettable moment of Francesco Totti’s winning goal at the Bernabeu in 2002. It was picked ahead of five excellent runner-up submissions that are also featured below.
