Fifteen years ago today, the Juventus game that probably stands out the most in any Giallorossi fan's memory took place in Turin. Even though the contest didn't end in victory, it marked a decisive step towards the 2000-01 Scudetto for Roma.
Six days from the end of the season, Roma arrived at the Stadio Delle Alpi with a six-point lead on the Bianconeri in second.
The match was a roller-coaster affair and featured an historic comeback from Fabio Capello's men who found themselves trailing by two after goals from Alessandro Del Piero and Zinedine Zidane in the first six minutes.
First Hidetoshi Nakata cut the deficit with a thunderbolt from outside the area in the 79th minute before Vincenzo Montella tapped in from close range on the stroke of full-time, sending the 12,000 Giallorossi fans who had made the trip to Turin into delirium.
