Nainggolan and Vermaelen were both part of the Belgium squad that reached the quarter-finals of the European Championship in the summer.

Nainggolan scored two goals in the tournament, against Sweden and Wales.

At the same time as the squad announcement, Belgium confirmed that former France striker Thierry Henry has joined Martinez's backroom staff as assistant manager.
