Paredes: I feel better with every game

The Argentine midfielder grabbed his first goal since returning to the club after a loan spell at Empoli, as Roma moved within two points of Juventus at the top of the Serie A standings.

“It was important to win today to narrow the gap to Juventus,” the Argentine midfielder said following the game. “We're on the right track and now we just have to continue down it.

“There was a slice of luck about my goal but the important thing was getting the victory. We achieved the three points by playing well.”

“We celebrated like this on Thursday as well. We both scored this evening so we were able to do it again.”
