Totti and De Rossi passed 1000 appearances against Palermo

Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi passed the threshhold of 1000 combined appearances in Serie A on Sunday evening against Palermo.

The captain has 606 appearances for the Giallorossi and De Rossi is on 395, producing a total of 1001. Only Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Costacurta, and previously Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi, have made 1000 appearances in the Italian top flight while playing for the same side.
