Alessandro Florenzi underwent reconstructive surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Friday
The operation was successful and the player will now begin a rehabilitation programme.
Florenzi, who has made 13 appearances and scored one goal in all competitions this season, was injured during Roma's away win at Sassuolo on Wednesday 26 October.
