Loan Watch: Skorupski adds second clean sheet of the season

Goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski began the season on the bench at Empoli, but has since started the last six matches, performing reasonably well.

In his second start of the season, he recorded a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Torino, making five saves. Two weeks ago, the Polish international had a season-high seven saves in a 3-0 defeat against league leaders Juventus. He has 19 saves so far this year, which averages out to 3.2 saves per match.

On Sunday, Skorupski recorded his second clean sheet of the campaign in a 0-0 draw with Genoa, making three saves.

He’ll look to continue his excellent form next time out against Chievo Verona – while a meeting with Roma is now only a few weeks away.
